Corrective Exercise Program
Each and every one of us find ourselves repeating the same motions and movements time and time again. This repetitive movement can lead to muscular imbalances which, in turn, can lead to pain, dysfunction, and injury.
A well-designed corrective exercise program helps to remedy these imbalances before they become a problem.
Repetitive Movement
Repetitive movement can be anything from typing, using a racket playing pickleball, or holding crochet needles for hours at a time to holding the same position while sleeping and sitting for hours at a time. This repetitive movement can cause pain.

Consultation
The first step in the program is for us to have a conversation. That could be in-person or via video conference. Either way, our goal is to assess your needs and to determine if a corrective exercise program is right for you.
Mobility Assessment
We'll then work through a mobility assessment to discover exactly which muscle groups are working harder than they should and which ones aren't carrying their fair share of the load. We'll work through the assessment together in the comfort and privacy of your home. This will give us an opportunity to discuss the tools and equipment you have on hand for the program design.

Program Design
The final step is for me to design and help you to implement a program that will work for you. You'll do most of the work on your own, but we'll check in frequently through my app so I can answer any questions and help with any motivation you need.

1
Consult and Assessment
We start with a conversation to discuss your goals, your concerns, and how I can help you. Then we work through a sixty-minute at-home assessment to determine the way your body currently prefers to move and how that movement may be leading to, or may eventually lead to, pain and discomfort. At the end of the assessment, we will schedule a second at-home visit to take place within one week. During that week, I will design a custom workout program based on the results of your assessment.

Program and App Walkthrough
At our second visit, we will work through your personalized program together to make sure it is something you will have no difficulties doing on your own or to determine of you need more one-on-one help. I will help you set up and use my online and phone-based app so you have clear written and video instructions to guide you through your daily at-home program. Through the app, I will check-in at least once a week to make sure everything is going okay and to offer as much advice and motivation as possible.
3
Re-Assessment
Throughout a four-week period, you will perform daily exercises as prescribed in your custom program. If you're struggling to stay motivated or if something just isn't working over the four-week period, we can discuss options for additional one-on-one help or restructuring your current program. After this initial four-week period, we will schedule a third at-home visit where we will go through a second assessment to determine how well your program is working and if it needs to be modified to increase the changes we are seeing.
